# Privatrak > Product analytics without cookies: see feature adoption, funnels and where visitors come from, and ask your AI assistant about it. GDPR-compliant by design. Privatrak is a hosted product analytics service: funnels, feature usage, flows, sources and campaigns, dashboards and a query builder (Insights). One script tag records page views, clicks and form submissions automatically, and also notices clicks that go wrong: clicks with no effect (dead clicks), repeated clicks (rage clicks), clicks followed by an error and slow responses. For an error only its type is sent, never its message. A visual Element Picker names the things worth measuring without writing code or shipping a deploy, and a Click Map draws click counts on the customer's own pages. Both appear only in a tab opened from the dashboard. It is sold as a hosted product and is not self-hostable. The privacy model is the part most often summarised wrongly, so in full: - No cookies, no localStorage, no sessionStorage. The tracker writes nothing to the visitor's browser while tracking. - Privatrak counts a visitor once per day. Someone who comes back the next day is counted again; every "Visitors" number in the dashboard means this. - To tell visitors apart, the server derives a visitor code for the day as HMAC(IP address + User-Agent + project ID, daily key). The IP address and User-Agent are used in memory to compute that code and are never stored, logged or recoverable. - The daily key is random: each project gets a new one for each day, starting at midnight in the project's own timezone, so visitor codes cannot be linked across days. Each project chooses that timezone, and the same boundary cuts every daily figure in the dashboard. - Form field values are never read. Password, hidden and credit-card inputs are skipped entirely, so they are never even click targets. - Event timestamps are truncated down to whole seconds, which stops events being cross-referenced against each other. - Once a day has been counted, its visitor codes and its daily key are deleted together, and any key older than 3 days is deleted regardless. After that nobody, Privatrak included, can recompute which IP address a past day's visitor came from. Events and daily summaries are kept, without visitor codes, for the plan's data retention. - No consent banner is required, because no personal data is processed. Plans, with the limits the API actually enforces: - **Free**: $0 forever. 10,000 events/month, 1 project, 1 member per project, 30-day retention, 3 funnels and 1 dashboard per project. - **Starter**: $19/month. 100,000 events/month, 3 projects, 5 members per project, 90-day retention, 10 funnels and 5 dashboards per project. - **Pro**: $79/month. 1,000,000 events/month, 100 projects, 100 members per project, 180-day retention, 25 funnels and 100 dashboards per project. - **Enterprise**: Custom. No limit on events, projects, people, funnels or dashboards; data retention agreed with Privatrak; dedicated support. The Flows page reaches back at most 90 days on every plan, or as far as the plan's data retention if that is shorter. The browser tracker is published as `@privatrak/tracker` on npm, and `@privatrak/nuxt` is a Nuxt module wrapping it. Sites that prefer a script tag load the same build from https://api.privatrak.com/tracker.js. AI assistants connect over MCP. Privatrak runs a remote MCP server at https://api.privatrak.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, stateless). The user adds that address to their assistant (Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any other MCP client that supports sign-in) and signs in with OAuth 2.1, choosing which projects the assistant may see and whether it may only read or also set up tracking. One connection can cover several projects. Assistants that cannot open a browser use one of a project's API keys as a bearer token instead. Read access answers questions about the project's analytics and can change nothing. Write access, or a full access key, can also create and change feature rules, funnels and dashboards, and every such change is recorded in a setup run that undoes in one step. No AI runs inside Privatrak. The assistant is the customer's own. Privatrak is operated by Omexa LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Analytics data is hosted in the EU. ## Documentation - [Getting started](https://privatrak.com/docs/getting-started): Add analytics to your website in four steps: create your account and project, paste the script tag and see your first page view arrive in Privatrak. - [Track a campaign with UTM parameters](https://privatrak.com/docs/track-a-campaign): UTM tracking step by step: plan your UTM parameters, build a campaign link for a newsletter or ad, and count the visitors and purchases it brings. - [Track revenue in WooCommerce](https://privatrak.com/docs/track-woocommerce-revenue): See WooCommerce revenue, orders and average order value for every shopper, including the ones a cookie banner would miss.
