Yes! The Free plan includes up to 10,000 events per month, enough to evaluate Privatrak on a real project. No credit card required. When you're ready for more, the Starter plan at $19/month gives you 100,000 events and 3 projects.

The Free plan is meant for personal sites, hobby projects, and evaluating Privatrak on a real project. If Privatrak runs on something commercial, such as a company website, a shop, a paid product or client work, please pick Starter or Pro. That is what keeps the Free plan free for everyone else.

Every pageview, click and form submission the tracker captures counts as one event. So does each click problem, such as a click that did nothing. Auto-captured and manually tracked events both count.

Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately. If you downgrade, you keep access to your current plan's features until the end of your billing cycle.

Not yet, but it's on our roadmap. Currently all paid plans are billed monthly with no long-term commitment.

We email you at 80% of your limit and again when you reach it. After that, new events are rejected until your next billing cycle. They are not queued or backfilled, so anything sent in the meantime is not recorded. Upgrading restores tracking straight away.
